JDIP Rehabilitation Works - Shortwood Road

Works commenced on this Project November 05, 2011.

 

Shortwood Project Road spans 3.25km in length and is a heavily traversed corridor with feeder roads into communities such as; Allerdyce, Norbrook, Cherry Gardens and Barbican.  As a result of this, works on this project is at times carried out late at nights in order to facilitate on going vehicular traffic in the days and also to expedite the progress of the works.

 

 

Scope of Works includes:

  • Milling of existing roads and pavements
  • Construction of 185 meters of Retaining Walls
  • Demolition of Existing Kerbs and Sidewalks
  • Construction of Kerbs and Sidewalks
  • Paving
